Put your future in motion!ResponsibilitiesRepresents the BTS (Business Technology Services) Department in the provision of application maintenance and technical services to support enterprise operation and enable business transformation for an assigned area. Works with clients and other BTS teams in identifying, proposing, and implementing new applications or services, application system changes, enhancements, configurations, interfaces, and solutions to issues while ensuring these applications or services comply with BTS standards and regulations. Develops, where agreed and feasible, software customizations, interfaces, reports and/or new applications. Maintains the health of applications by providing technical and maintenance support throughout their lifecycle stages. Responds to emergency call-outs for immediate operational support as required.QualificationsEDUCATION:Diploma in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field from a recognized higher education institution including courses in business/systems analysis, general programming and the use of software development tools.EXPERIENCE:Requires three (3) years of recent experience in supporting enterprise applications in an information technology environment following current and relevant frameworks such as ITIL, Modern Service Management, Lean, and DevOps, applying these guidelines and best practices, utilizing development tools and information engineering techniques, communicating with users, other BTS teams and external parties to resolve problems and identify solutions. A further period of up to one (1) year in the position is required to become familiar with assigned TransLink information systems, policies, procedures, environment and its user requirements.Other InformationExperience with Microsoft Power Platform and Azure, Cority, Riskonnect Clearsight and Longview would be an asset.Should be familiar with Agile and development methodologies.Recruitment Process: An applicant will be required to demonstrate their suitability for this position by meeting the minimum level of qualifications and experience in order to be invited into the selection process. A standard interview format will be used including general, scenario and behavioural descriptive interview questions.Work Schedule37.5 hours per week.Work DesignationHybridThis position offers the flexibility of working both on-site and remotely within B.C.Rate of PaySalary $7,745 - $9,314 per month (Actual salary offered will be commensurate with education, experience and internal parity).The Total Compensation Package includes Extended Health, Dental, Transit Pass and enrollment in the Public Service Pension Plan.
