We are seeking a Research Scientist to join our Natural Product Chemistry team.You will play a crucial role in advancingour research projects, focusing on the development of botanical pharmaceuticalsand the optimisation of extraction, purification, and formulation techniques. You will be conductingindividual and collaborative research projects. This includes, designing and undertaking experiments, maintainingmeticulous research notes,and entry and analysingof the resulting data to meet projectmilestones. Optimising extraction, purification, and characterisation methods forbotanical materials, ensuring high-quality and consistent results. Analysing and interpreting experimental data, maintaining meticulous records,and presenting findings to the research team. Contributing to the development of intellectual property aroundextraction, purification, and formulation techniques. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure project milestonesare met and align with company objectives. Preparing regulatory documents, such as INDs and NDAs, for botanicaldrug products in collaboration with the regulatory affairs team. You will hold a degree in chemistryor a related subject,either MSc, or BSc with relevantadditional research experience. You will be highly skilled in chemicalextractions of natural products with knowledgeand experience of patent development as well as purification, surfacechemistry, and chromatography techniques. Youcan demonstrate an innovation mindset to drive science and technologydevelopment. You are comfortable managing multiple research projects simultaneously, ensuring timelycompletion of deliverables and effective coordination with other departments. You enjoy mentoring and guiding junior members of the research team,fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment. You are confident in building and maintaining great relationships withboth internal and external partners.
