Responsibilities

  • Reporting directly to the Procurement Manager, serve as a pivotal member of the IT procurement department and provide essential support for daily operations
  • Solicit price quotations from various suppliers to ensure the best value for goods and services
  • Prepare and generate purchase orders accurately and promptly
  • Complete and organize all purchasing documents efficiently
  • Foster effective communication and conduct timely follow-ups with MNP vendors
  • Execute designated accounts payable tasks with attention to detail
  • Utilize financial systems to appropriately code and upload invoices
  • Facilitate month-end reporting activities including asset transfers and pre-paid fixed assets
  • Coordinate year-end reporting procedures including the handling of accruals

Skills and Experience

  • At least 1 year of experience in procurement and accounts payable
  • Proficiency using Microsoft Office products (Visio, Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
  • Experience with Service Now and Unit4 Financial ERP is considered an asset
  • Strong attention to detail, coupled with excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Knowledge of French is considered an asset
