Job Title: Change Management Specialist Our client is looking for a skilled Change Management Specialist to join their amazing team. Reporting to the Director HR&OD & working closely with the Change Management Consultant, and Director PMO, the OCM will partner with our clients & business areas to improve services, facilitate change, and ensure projects deliver their intended business outcomes. The OCM will also support the PMO team for developing, implementing, and improving practices, tools, and other supports to help ensure successful project delivery including the PMO Strategic roadmap projects and Innovation initiatives. Change management consultant leads the execution of the change management strategies. The incumbent is responsible for ensuring that change management learning and development services are delivered effectively to all defined clients, that economies of scale are achieved in meeting similar needs, that techniques and approaches are shared across client groups, and that consistency in messaging is maintained. Change Management consultant plays a key role in ensuring new change initiatives introduced into the organization meet the intended business objectives by increasing adoption of the change. Your primary responsibility will be creating and implementing project and program related change management strategies and plans that maximize business benefits. You will be accountable to demonstrate the value of the organization by delivering tangible results through a collaborative and structured approach to managing the people/technology side of change. You will have the opportunity to contribute to a wide variety of projects that will include PMO as an integral part of a larger initiative. Strategic Roadmap projects Enterprise business applications that support key administrative or organizational processes You will also work with other PMO & HR team members to create and evolve a CM practice that can be leveraged across the organization. Lead end to end change management activities and process for small to medium initiatives. Analyzing risks and providing recommendations to business owners, stakeholders, employees, process, to ultimately achieve business results. Leading project deliverables related to change management to meet the needs of the stakeholders and drive successful adoption of change. Engaging appropriate stakeholders to identify and manage required outcomes of projects for the business. Providing and supporting on-going communication with key stakeholders to ensure they are aware of significant changes which impact change delivery to the overall project. Developing and supporting communications for internal change management activities Developing change management plans and schedules to support the change. Working with Education team to make recommendations for improvements to address trainee performance gaps and implement solutions to address gaps. Establishing and maintaining standards, best practices for change management communications, training, and documentation Leading and building strong collaborative relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders. Apply a structured methodology to lead change management activities. Support leadership to utilize change management best practices and approaches needed to successfully implement projects and initiatives. Develop actionable change management plans with associated initiatives and strategies that are appropriately scaled and integrated. Generate original ideas, formulate change strategies, and develop innovative solutions based on a broad knowledge of change management methodologies and techniques. Work closely with Project Managers to integrate Change Management activities into project plans. Strong interpersonal and leadership skills to engage, motivate, coach and mentor team and project members. Organized with a natural inclination for planning strategy and tactics. Change management certification would be considered a strong asset. Lean six sigma, Kanban model and Agile certification would be considered a strong asset. A degree in a related field A demonstrated track record (minimum 5 years) of successfully leading the planning and execution of strategic change efforts in support of organization and cultural change. Experience creating and delivering change management activities within a project structure. Solid understanding of project management approaches, tools and phases of the project lifecycle.
