Senior Operations Manager This position is located in the Edmonton, AB area - relocation is required and relocation assistance is available for qualified candidates. Oversee day-to-day operations of a 600,000 sq. ft. warehouse space stocking 40,000 packaging, shipping, industrial and janitorial products. Lead and develop a team of 100+ warehouse employees to deliver unparalleled service and same day shipping. Freight, Returns, Receiving, Parcels, Transfers, Customer Pick-Up, Safety, Inventory Control and Transportation. Develop and execute strategic plans to support double-digit growth: labour planning, staffing, capital requirements. Bachelor's degree preferred. ~10+ years' experience in a senior distribution center leadership role preferred. ~ Experience leading a warehouse team including: hiring, training and motivating. ~ Performance metrics experience an asset. ~ Warehouse Management Systems experience (Manhattan, Red Prairie or SAP) a plus. ~ Company-paid extended health coverage that includes medical, dental and vision after only 30 days.
