Overview

As Business Analyst at PepsiCo, you will be the key FLC division expert accountable for providing the material inventory expertise, insights, coaching and support that enable effective Inventory Management process at each of the site while elevating performance within the Frito Lay Canada ("FLC") business. That expertise will be elevated to many other performance and productivity business analytics that may be require.

The Supply Chain Performance & Productivity Analyst role is to provide support & coaching for the supply chain ingredient inventory management across Canada (5 locations). This includes adherence to inventory standard operating procedure across the country, train and coach site BA against variance to performance. Identify gap leverage LEAN approach to propose process improvement and unlock productivity. This role also interacts with cross functional partner (MOS, R&D and Accounting) providing insight, reviewing production recipe, ingredient standard release and any other related conversion or usage performance and productivity opportunities. Material performance such as National Carton performance will also be part of the role and accountability.

Located in Lethbridge, AB. 6 Month Contract/Seasonal/Temporary.

Responsibilities

  • Extracting and analyzing data, generating, and providing reports that support projects daily requirements of the Lethbridge Manufacturing Team.
  • Uncovering, troubleshooting, and providing solutions to inefficiencies, process gaps, and reporting errors
  • Creating and running reports as necessary to understand data and cost and usage trends to increase insight into department opportunities
  • Daily tracking of ingredient usage and labor by channel code, deep dive of performance and report on opportunities
  • Accountable for weekly financial close and reporting direct and indirect cost to Department and Supply Chain Finance Teams.
  • Processing of receipts of raw materials into oracle for vendor payment.
  • Support tracking, reconciliation, and reporting of returned cartons for sales partners to drive performance and accountability at route level.
  • Partner with AP team to deep dive and resolve outstanding invoices (COUPA)
  • Accountable for daily reconciliation of production between SAP, Oracle and R-Time to ensure accurate KG production reporting to drive financial performance and accuracy of key manufacturing performance metrics ex. Finished Waste, TCC, TE, and utility consumption/kg.
  • Execute Quarterly SAG/SOX audits to ensure Controls Compliance.
  • Supporting other functions as necessary

Qualifications

  • SAP and/or Oracle certifications considered an asset.
  • 5+ years of progressive responsibility, ideally with responsibilities related to raw material ordering, receiving or allocation.
  • Proven ability to function effectively in a team environment and gain the cooperation of individuals across the organization, build and influencing relationships across all levels and functions.
  • Demonstrated ability to navigate through challenging conversations but deliver mutually aligned and beneficial outcomes.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with all levels of management.
  • Excellent analytical skills and complex problem solving, with the ability to translate analytical findings into actionable solutions and processes.
  • Strong influencing skills, including delivering results through indirect reporting structures.
  • Results-oriented with ability to initiate and lead projects from conception to completion.
  • Organizational skills with proven results delivering on time deadline
  • Procurement or A/P process knowledge required
  • Strong understanding of Financial / DVA process required
  • Inventory/financial systems knowledge (Oracle)
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint and ability to learn new digital system as continuous learning
