Adecco is currently recruiting for a Human Resources Manager for a full-time permanent role with our client based out of Thornhill, Ontario. This role is fully on site, the ideal candidate have to be qualified for leading, training and managing tasks.

The Human Resources Manager will have the following responsibilities:
  1. Lead and mentor the HR team, setting departmental goals that align with the company's strategic objectives.
  2. Help managing the scheduling and coordination of staff, employees, contractors, and events, including room reservations.
  3. Design and implement comprehensive HR strategies and programs that encompass workforce planning, talent management, and development.
  4. Elevate our employee onboarding and orientation programs, ensuring a seamless integration of new hires into our culture and values.
  5. Develop and oversee advanced training and professional development programs to meet the needs of our employees and the organization.
  6. Enhance our performance management processes, including the refinement of evaluation tools, to drive organizational excellence and employee growth.
  7. Lead the expansion of our employee benefits programs, ensuring competitive and comprehensive offerings.
  8. Drive the recruitment and retention strategies, including employer branding initiatives, to attract and keep top talent.
  9. Manage complex employee relations issues, providing expert guidance and conflict resolution.
  10. Ensure HR policies, procedures, and practices comply with regulatory requirements and best practices, including the management of HR records and reporting.
  11. Act as a strategic partner to the leadership team, providing insights and recommendations on HR matters that affect the organization's performance and culture.
The Human Resources Manager must meet the following mandatory requirements:
  • Bachelor's or master's degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of progressive HR experience, with at least 3 years in a managerial or leadership role.
  • Demonstrated success in developing and executing HR strategies and programs in a dynamic environment.
  • Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to inspire and mentor a team.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, capable of working with diverse stakeholders.
  • Proven ability to handle sensitive situations and confidential information with discretion.
  • Expert problem-solving and analytical skills, with a strategic and proactive approach to HR challenges.
  • Advanced proficiency in HR software and Microsoft Office suite. Experience with Connecteam software is a plus.
  • Flexibility to adapt and thrive in a fast-paced and changing environment.
