Principal Application Operations Engineer (Oracle)

We are recruiting for a Principal Application Operations Engineer to join an existing team in our ever-growing office.

We are looking for a functional/technical expert in Oracle's SaaS solution with an in-depth knowledge of payroll and HCM processes and how these relate to the Oracle solution.

This is an exciting time to join us as having successfully embedded Oracle Fusion, we are now looking to further capitalise on the systems potential, through automation of further business processes and widening of the systems support to business customers.

Most of us live in beautiful Cornwall and our offices are less than 5 miles from the beach. Whilst we love Cornwall and can't imagine not living here, we know a lot of people are happy elsewhere. We expect everyone to come to our office occasionally, maybe once or twice a quarter, but apart from that we are happy for you to be based anywhere in the UK. If you are lucky enough to be based in Cornwall or would like to relocate to this beautiful part of the country, our new offices are set-up for you to work here if you would prefer.

• Experience with Oracle's SaaS solution in a Lead or Principal role.
• In-depth knowledge of payroll and HCM processes.
• The ability to talk about technical detail in a non-technical way, in order to effectively communicate with the target audience.
• Take a consultative approach when assessing issues and be able to give a confidently deliver a suitable solution.
• Be able to lead and facilitate specialist teams when necessary, in order to develop solutions.
• Experience working within an Agile team and adept at working in sprint cycles.
• You will be able to work in a collaborative way with Subject Matter Experts (SME) from business areas, other members of the Product Team and the Team's dedicated Delivery Manager to solve problems, resolve issues and help to grow and transform the Oracle Solution in accordance with the Product Roadmap.
