Description

Federated Co-operatives Limited (FCL) is hiring an Equipment Integrity Lead on a permanent basis at our Co-op Refinery Complex. This position requires on-site work and is based in Regina, SK.

We operate a world-class refinery that utilizes cutting-edge technology to produce 130,000 barrels of refined petroleum products per day and an annual production capacity of 6.8 billion liters. As one of Canada's largest refineries we employ over 1,000 people.

Our Integrity Team is a cornerstone of excellence, ensuring that our operations are not just efficient but also safe and sustainable. What you'll do:

  • Provide leadership, technical support and mentorship to a team of engineers and technicians that are accountable for the asset integrity of fixed equipment including fired heaters, pressure vessels, heat exchangers, piping, tanks, etc.
  • Lead the evaluation of the results of the inspection activities prescribed in the Asset Care Strategy / ITP, including analysis of highly technical information, completion of complex evaluations as well as preparation of technical reports.
  • Responsible for the creation and guidance of the team in the development of inspection tactics in Asset Care Strategies using: Risk Based Inspection (RBI), Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM), API guidelines as well as industry best practices.
  • Participate in the guidance of other teams in the required care of assets in order to maintain risk at an acceptable level while balancing cost.
  • Develop and implement specialized Equipment Integrity programs based on regulatory and code requirements to be tailored to the Co-op Refinery Complex.

Who you'll work with:

The Team: You will work closely with technicians, technologists and engineers on the team who specializing in areas such as pressure vessels, heat exchangers, fired equipment, piping, QA/QC and other special projects. You will have 2 direct reports as well as up to 15 indirect reports (in-service inspectors and NDE technicians). This team strives to cultivate a culture of innovation, support and collaboration.

The Collaborators: You will work closely with other functions at our Co-op Refinery Complex and collaborate with teams such as Turnaround, Maintenance, and Operations.

Who you are:

You are looking for a career in Engineering & Engineering Technology and:

  • You have a bachelor's degree or a diploma in engineering or engineering technology from a accredited institution with preference for the mechanical, industrial, or metallurgical related disciplines.
  • You have a minimum of 8 years of experience, preferably in the energy industry (a combination of relevant education and experience may be considered.)
  • TSASK Pressure Equipment Class 1 or 2, National Board training, API 510, API 570, API 571, or MMP designations are considered an asset.
  • You're honest and trustworthy, are results oriented and strive to be the best in what you do.
