The workplace is at the Terrebonne research and development laboratory . The engineering department includes 15 employees . As a Mechanical Engineer / Technician at Planiform, you will be responsible for several customer and R&D projects, your ideas will be listened to and taken into consideration and you will be considered a key player. Work closely with project managers and a multidisciplinary technical team (automation, IT, electrical, etc.) Design mechanical projects from A to Z, including 3D, 2D, BOM, production monitoring, installation monitoring Participate in the "brainstorming" of mechanical projects With the help of the automation engineer, participate in the development and design of automation Understand and solve the problems observed during the tests Research new components and new operating principles Model and / or assemble mechanical components Provide technical support following system startup Support engineering by making corrections and/or modifications to 3D/Plans; If necessary, participate in the development of bids All other related tasks that may help the progress of the projects entrusted to him What we are looking for: Minimum of 3 years of experience French required (intermediate or advanced level) Be passionate and innovative Be rigorous and resourceful Have experience in a manufacturing environment Ability to communicate with a multidisciplinary team Advance knowledge of a 3D modeling software (Inventor an asset) Ability to communicate with a multidisciplinary team #J-18808-Ljbffr
