Reporting to the Senior Manager, Supply Chain Performance, the Sr. Associate is responsible to support the various initiatives aimed at optimizing the performance of the McKesson Canada supply chain by aligning stakeholders with McKesson's policies, requirements, external industry best practices and regulatory requirements. This is achieved by identifying, evaluating, documenting supply chain bottlenecks through the development of tools, reports and metrics, by collaborating with the various supply chain stakeholders (DC operations, service providers and suppliers) and implementing continuous process improvements. Ensuring that McKesson supply chain programs and services (recalls, lumpers) are aligned with supplier performance guidelines Supporting the performance management programs to support supplier education, drive efficiency gains and administer cost recovery measures resulting from supplier non- performances. Involved in monitoring risks and implementing continuous improvement initiatives enabling supply chain performance, by working closely with key internal and external stakeholders, including Supply and Demand Planning, Operations, Strategic Sourcing, Finance and suppliers. Support the Inbound Logistics team and projects were needed. Monitors Supplier Performance inbox by responding to requests within expected delays to all related Supply Chain Guideline questions (internal-external). Participate in the maintenance of McKesson supply chain services (recall management, supplier performance and lumpers) aimed at standardizing and optimizing supply chain efficiency and meeting regulatory requirements. Contribute to implementing improvements that will align supply chain processes and stakeholders with McKesson supplier performance requirements. Participate to onboard new and support existing suppliers on McKesson's supplier-facing supply chain requirements, processes. Maintain supplier contact database up to date and accurate Assist in preparing supplier performance scorecards and performing trend analysis on activities that impact key performance metrics (i.e. on-time delivery, quantity accuracy, product availability) or supply chain excellence (damages due to poor packaging) Take part in the implementation of continuous improvement initiatives by collaborating with key internal stakeholders, including Operations, Strategic Sourcing and Finance. Benchmark competitors and other business programs and performances Coordinate the monitoring and reporting of poor performing suppliers - escalation process (watchlist, communicate, corrective action - qualitative or quantitative) Act as a key contact for suppliers, McKesson internal business partners for supply chain services (recall services, lumpers and supplier performance) and ensure issues are appropriately examined, resolved and/or escalated as needed.
