Leading the effective implementation of strategic plans and achieving operational goals Building and maintaining relationships with business partners, community leaders, and stakeholders Overseeing financial health, including budgeting, financial planning, and audit compliance Championing business development initiatives and exploring growth opportunities Acting as a liaison and public relations officer in line with Board policies About You To qualify, you will needa Bachelor's or Master's degree in business, forestry,or a related field, and ideally holdprofessional certification such as CPA, CFA, or MBA. You will also have5-8+ years of senior leadership experience in finance, accounting, forestry, or related industries. Demonstrated abilities in business development and strategic planning Knowledge of Indigenous, municipal, and community-based business operations Capability to lead division managers and maintain strong relations across diverse community and corporate landscapes As our ideal candidate, you will possess exceptional leadership and communication skills, including the capacity to navigate First Nations governance and community dynamics with tact, empathy, and understanding, ensuring alignment with community expectations and needs.
