The Business Development Specialist fosters customer relationships, aiming for revenue growth and service enhancement. Collaborates across departments and utilizes analytical acumen to identify revenue opportunities and market trends through data-driven recommendations. Highly flexible, with the ability to respond quickly in a dynamic environment · Embraces technological innovation to create efficiencies, improve productivity and enhance customer experience · Key Account Sectors include, but are not limited to: o Social program administrators o Nurse in Charge and community travel clerks Conduct market research and analyze industry trends to identify business opportunities across business segments · Meet quarterly with key account customers to review operational performance and growth opportunities · Actively participate in comprehensive RFP responses including proposal writing and development of detailed pricing tables · Diploma or post-secondary degree in Business, Marketing or Economics, a related field or equivalent experience · 3+ years of experience in a customer centric sales role, partnerships, or business development role · High degree of proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Advanced Excel) with experience in Business Intelligence considered an asset · Knowledge of budgeting and financial analysis processes · Aviation experience is considered an asset · Indigenous and Cultural Awareness Training considered an asset Travel by aircraft and other means as required by role · Work performed primarily in an office environment · Manual dexterity required to use desktop computer and telephone ·
