You will join this position of an indeterminate length with the expectation to see projects spanning 2-3 years to completion, with an opportunity to grow into a more permanent role based on performance.Reporting to the Director, Land Code Governance, and in collaboration with RC & LTSA staff, the Program Manager is responsible for planning and managing all aspects of program execution including timelines, budgets, internal resourcing, external vendors, customer and internal changes, issue tracking, risk management, and status reporting.More specifically, your responsibilities include but are not limited to:Planning and monitoring program progress to ensure milestones are metDefining program controls and managing inter-dependent workstreamsCoordinating activities and managing resources across workstreamsAligning program activities with business and strategic goalsManaging contracts and agreements with vendorsApplying change control processes to keep the program on scheduleTracking progress and developing corrective action plansCommunicating progress, issues, and risks effectivelyTo read the full position description, please click here.Accordingly, employment with the RC will be temporary and end once the FNLGR is operational. About YouTo qualify, you will need a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field, ideally supplemented with a Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.A minimum of five years' experience in program management is required, with a preference for those who have worked in sectors involving complex project landscapes such as non-profit, indigenous affairs, or government.Proven experience in leadership and change managementFamiliarity with agile methodologies and organizational change managementStrong project management experience with large and complex projectsDemonstrated understanding of Indigenous cultureExpertise in budgeting and resource allocation protocolsExceptional communication skills, including public speaking and presentation deliveryProficiency in MS Office, Adobe, and virtual meeting platformsGovernment experience (asset)Proficiency in program/project management software (asset)As our ideal candidate, you balance remarkable independence with effective teamwork, excelling in building strong relationships both internally and externally.
