Job DescriptionElectrical, electronic, pneumatic & mechanical knowledge, comprehension, and skills.AC/DC control circuitsPLC and control circuit TroubleshootingLadder logic knowledge and basic programming skillsVFD's120v, 240, 480v single and three phase power circuits24v and 120v control circuitsUse of hand tools, Multi-meters Analog & Digital, ammeters, amp probes etc.Work from manuals, prints schematics: basic skills in math & readingGood communication Skills, basic computer skillsPlanning and organizing skillsKnowledge of programmable logic controllers (PLC)- Allen Bradley PLC 5, SLC 500- SiemensKnowledge Human Machine Interfaces (TCP) or Allen Bradley Panel View Plus (a Plus)Experience with proximity and photo sensorsTraining of maintenance personnelDocumentationMust be able to comprehend and comply with all OSHA and company safety and electrical regulations including Lock Out / Tag Out, and Arc Flash protectionAssist in CapEx planning with identifying obsolescence and electrical controls replacementsParticipate in equipment specification reviewsPartner with project teams on electrical and controls integrationReview of enterprise electrical and controls standardsPartner with Engineering and IT on ICS and cyber security integration as requiredAct as the site lead for MES/SCADA integrations and remote monitoring as required (Factory Talk, Plex, Ignition)Electrical panel building and designQualifications:2-year Associates degree in electrical technologies or equivalent experienceCertified Allen Bradley technician (Is very desirable) (Training to attain is will be provided)4 years of industrial automation experience in a manufacturing and distribution environment preferred.Allen-Bradley systems experience including, but not limited to, Rockwell Factory Talk suite of software, Logix platform, and proficient understanding of Allen-Bradley industrial networks.Experience developing process control strategies, architectures and PLC programs is required.Possess good understanding of computer and industrial networks.Ability to read, speak clearly, and understand detailed written and verbal instructions given in English.Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations.must demonstrate adherence to HACCP standards in daily performance.Must have or be able to obtain a passport.Join High Liner Foods for a career where you shape your path, backed by great benefits, flexible work, and a culture of diversity, innovation, and sustainability.
