Welldone Mechanical Services Inc., is a family owned company that has been serving Regina and Saskatoon for the last 58 years and we are growing! As a result, we are looking for an HR Professional to continue to build on our HR footprint. This is an excellent opportunity for the right person to make our HR department something to be proud!

Reporting to the Company President, you will be responsible for providing strategic leadership, advice, and support for the planning, implementation, and facilitation of all aspects of Human Resources. The HR Manager will work closely with the leadership team to ensure proper execution of all HR initiatives and programs.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBIILITIES

·Promote a positive and fun workplace culture.

·Build strong relationships with managers and employees to have a positive impact on work relationships, morale, engagement, productivity, and retention.

·Acts as a trusted advisor to leaders and staff regarding all HR management issues, while ensuring compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.

·Maintain our Safety program and COR certification.

·Review & develop policies, procedures & guidance, in keeping with best practices.

·Maintain accurate, up-to-date, and complete personnel records.

·Recruitment, orientation, and onboarding of new hires.

·Works with managers regarding training programs and performance management.

·Processes payroll, including compiling payroll data and reports on vacation time and deductions.

·Manages the company's benefit plan, including enrolling new employees and plan maintenance.

QUALIFICATIONS

· College diploma or University degree in related field.

· CPHR Designation is preferred.

· 10+ years' experience in Human Resources.

· Strong leadership skills.

· Superior relationship building skills.

· Excellent written and oral communication skills.

· Strong computer skills, including the Microsoft Office Suite.

· Able to perform consistently in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities and frequent interruptions.

· Ability to make sound decisions and solve problems involving varied levels of complexity, ambiguity, and risk.
