They are looking for a VP of Finance to join their team! Work with a high caliber team within a world-class asset management company Highly progressive role working closely with senior leadership Oversee the accounting function, responsible for the books and records of the company as well as our quarterly consolidation process; Connect with professionals from our global regional platforms to provide support and oversight for M&A initiatives and technical accounting matters; Coordinate with regional accounting leads to ensure overall accountability; Lead and oversee position papers on transactions initiated from our corporate platform; Establish and maintain robust processes over accounting operations, including ensuring key internal controls are adequate to meet quality standards, consistently applied, regularly reviewed, and SOX compliant; Monitor industry and regulatory trends and best practices and develop, implement, or update the company's policies as needed Prepare ad-hoc analyses and presentations for senior management group, as required. At least 8 - 10 years of post-qualification work experience in accounting/finance functions with at least 5 years of experience in managing teams Possesses strong knowledge of finance, accounting, budgeting, cost accounting and cost control principles, and International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS)
