Securiguard seeks a dynamic Operations Coordinator to support our expansion in our newly established Ottawa office. Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders, you'll ensure smooth communication with our front-line security staff and will streamline scheduling. Managing and overseeing employee information changes and general communications. Managing communications regarding scheduling changes and employee requirements with all clients. Working closely with site supervisors/managers for staffing, uniforms, certification and supplies required for site. Coordinating site specific training and certifications. Managing all pay rates and overtime for each employee to ensure employment standards are being followed. Experience in recruitment would be an asset. ~ Ability to multi-task and prioritize projects in a fast-paced environment. ~ Post-secondary diploma or degree in business administration, human resources, or other related fields would be considered an asset ~ Sound judgment and decision-making skills with a 'hands-on' problem solving approach and able to remain calm under pressure and take control of incidents. ~ Demonstrated ability to manage competing deadlines efficiently. ~ Must be able to work weekends and evening shifts. ~ Applicants must possess a valid driver's license issued by the province of Ontario.
