The opportunity

Our Wheatland Area of Canada Gas Operations has an opportunity for a Field Administrative Associate to join the team based in Airdrie, AB.

Reporting to the Area Manager, this role supports a wide range of day-to-day activities, coordinating with others to address departmental or interdepartmental tasks, and becoming a go-to for department information and support.


What you'll do

  • Prepare, coordinate, analyze and report on team budgets and forecasts
  • Assist team members on company programs and processes (i.e., SAP, WebEx, ART, ServiceNow, LMS, MS Office)
  • Coordinate meetings, training, and offsite events
  • Create requisitions, process vendor invoices
  • Create/maintain/report LMS (Learning Management System) team profiles
  • Assist with new hires, change of status completions and maintain time entry
  • Prepare reports and presentations required by management
  • Manage and maintain confidential information
  • Maintain facility file structure
  • Prepare and submit expense reports for team

Minimum Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 6 years of related administrative support experience
  • Strong MS Office computer skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Post-secondary certification in administration
  • Experience with SAP and LMS

This position requires candidates to:

  • Have and maintain a valid driver's license and provide a driver's abstract (record) for review
