YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES AS PURCHASER:
* Support the Supply Chain Manager in executing supply plans at the vendor level, ensuring efficient production and timely fulfillment of customer orders.
* Regularly generate reports for inventory items at min-max levels and provide order-level recommendations based on data-driven forecasts.
* Follow up with vendors on order acknowledgments, late orders, and lead time updates.
* Collaborate with the Supply Chain Manager and Order Planners to address issues related to sudden increases in orders or larger future orders, ensuring planned inventory levels align with vendor capabilities.
* Collaborate with Warehouse and Logistics to troubleshoot inventory discrepancies, incorrect items, or defects on incoming purchase orders.
* Manage indirect purchasing such as consumables, tools, and sundries.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR IN A PURCHASER:
* 2+ years experience in purchasing, vendor management, inventory and/or materials coordination within the manufacturing and/or assembly industry
* Working experience with standard ERP planning methodology, ideally NetSuite, covering min/max planning, EOQ, ATP, Purchase Order, Sales Order structures, item, and vendor master data
* Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
* Excellent communication skills, adaptability, and demonstrated ability to cultivate positive working relationships
* Self-determination with a proactive approach to decision-making
