RDTS is currently looking for a MerchandisingRepresentative located in Halifax, NS, to join our merchandising team.As such, your role is to merchandise and represent the products ofdifferent suppliers to various big-box stores in your territory.
Schedule: Part-Time approx. 5-8 hours a week, flexible hours to fit in your schedule from Monday to Friday.
Territory: Halifax . A mileage compensationpolicy is applicable.
TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES- Merchandise the products, do the facing, cleanthe sections, product rotation, etc.
- Identify marketing opportunities through techniquessuch as cross-merchandising, mass merchandising,etc.
- Installation and maintenanceof displays.
- Read and executeplanograms (when necessary, duringresets).
- Perform daily reports,which include taking pictures of the work done, through ourmobile reporting app.
- Maintainexcellent relationships with store managers.
- Execute any special mandate required by ourclients (audits, displays, etc.).
- Experience in merchandising and readingplanograms is an asset.
- Good interrelationship skills, autonomy, attention todetail.
- Must be able to occasionallycarry and lift loads that can go up to 15 kgs.
- Must be able to cover yourterritory. Mileage reimbursement policy is applicable.
