Mechanical Contractor
Leading mechanical contractor focused on buildings projects across BC
Our client is a Mechanical Contractor seeking a motivated Mechanical Coordinator or Junior Project Manager for large residential and commercial projects in Vancouver.
Role and Responsibilities:
- Support the General Manager by creating and maintaining project files and coordinating with site superintendents
- Provide accurate and timely job management by coordinating subcontractor, job structure, cost estimate, and project management information
- Facilitate field reviews throughout the duration of the project
- Assist accounts payable/receivable to ensure accurate project tracking and invoicing.
Required skills:
- 3+ years of building services experience
- Ability to read and technically understand architectural, mechanical and plumbing drawings
- Excellent written and oral English
- Experience in AutoCAD and Microsoft Project
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (incl. Work, Excel, and PowerPoint)
- Exceptional organizational and time management skills
- Comfortable working independently with minimum supervision
- Experience in HVAC and plumbing construction
- Mechanical Engineering degree or similar
