Collaborate with internal groups to fulfill analysis requirements and integration needs on operational dataIn addition to ensuring all applicable governance requirements on structure, reporting, documentation and training are accurate and maintained in accordance with AltaGas requirements. Manage multiple Operations Technology (OT) applications and database platforms for performance and integration issues– lead and implement recommended optimization solutions as required Support ongoing optimization efforts to streamline operational data integration solutions and architectures Support effective sharing and utilization of data across applications, multiple platforms and departments Collect, organize, and transform large quantities of data into useful and reliable information to enhance the Midstream operational process, data use/consumption and senior management reporting; Conduct data integrity test to ensure the validity of the information used in analysis and reports submitted to consumers; Develop solutions to explain performance with regards to operational events, operational activities, and other performance drivers; Create, design, provide SME expertise, with highly interactive visualizations tied Midstream UOC such as complex PBI and other multi-data sourced dashboards as required. Work with technology and strategy stakeholders to design and implement effective data collection capabilities to support client dashboard needs Perform testing and data validation for newly developed dashboards and tools Work with various data sets to develop data models, visualizations and reports to support specific business processes Help identify and implement evolving best practices relevant to operational data integration architectures. Supports, troubleshoots and analyzes business systems, applications and other databases, to resolve complex systems, data management, communication, and interoperating problems; Conducts scripting, testing and maintenance of developed integration systems Identify data quality issues and support overall data governance programs Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, information technology, or a related field 5-7 years of Oil and gas industry knowledge/experience in relation data analytics, development integration and application use. Relevant experience with large data (Aveva Pi, truck/rail applications, Maximo, etc) 5-7 years of Knowledge of cloud based tools such as Microsoft Azure, event-based ingestion and analysis systems, storage, development, cloud-based machine learning 5-7 years of Knowledge data historian architechures and data integration - systems such as; Inmation, PI, Honeywell PHD, open-source / cloud historians OPC, Matrikon etc. 5 years of Azure experience, such as Azure Data Explorer, PowerBI (Visualizations, DAX, Power Query, Data Modeling). Fluent in querying languages such as SQL, Kusto or other databases. 3-5 years of experience in data visualizations, including a rich portfolio of dashboards/reports/visualizations ideally in data-rich and complex business environments Experience with data analytics, including data modeling, data integration, and data governance. Technical expertise in developing data integrations, logical and physical data models, data mining, and data warehousing. Proven experience with large technology implementations, application deployment or system migrations Exceptional time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines, work on multiple projects and once, and adapt to changing priorities Demonstrated proficiency in conducting detailed data analysis (determine the structure, content, and quality of the data through examination of source systems and data samples) AltaGas is a North American energy infrastructure company with a focus on owning and operating assets that provide clean and affordable energy to our customers.
