Job Description

The Recruitment Coordinator will support the recruitment portfolio for office and community-based positions including support staff (i.e. IT, Human Resources, Finance), Professional Practice roles (i.e. RN/RPN, Social Workers) and Personal Support Workers. As the first point of contact for initial interaction with candidates and employees, the Recruitment Coordinator will require strong customer service, consultation and assessment skills to support the full cycle, high volume recruitment process. The Recruitment Coordinator will build support for Circle of Care and the HR departments' strategic goals and objectives by communicating, collaborating and leading by example.

We are looking for: Full-time, Contract (1 Year) Recruitment Coordinator
Salary: Commensurate with experience
Hours of Work: 34 hours per week. This is a hybrid work from home role.
Reports to: Manager, Talent Acquisition and Retention

Responsibilities

• Prepare and post advertisements to various job boards and Agency website
• Use applicant tracking system (Dayforce) to maintain and build candidate pipeline, shortlist candidate resumes, contact potential applicants to arrange phone screens, assess candidate for interview recommendation and schedule interviews
• Work with hiring managers and supervisors to co-ordinate and participate in the interview process to evaluate candidates
• Partner with Hiring Managers to recommend, develop and implement recruitment strategies to support the recruitment portfolio
• Advise job applicants on employment requirements and on terms and conditions of employment
• Be responsible for the on-boarding process including preparing employment offers, creating new hire packages and coordinating all new hire activities to facilitate positive employee experiences
• Develop and improve interview guides, job descriptions and job profiles
• Participate in the organization and recruitment of candidates through internal/external Career Fairs, Information Sessions etc. and identify other career events and creative sources that offer recruiting opportunities
• Maintain strong recruitment metrics reporting and tracking as required
• Actively participate in HR Team, collaborate with, and provide solutions/support to team members and senior member in the department to achieve strategic goals and objectives
• Provide support to HR team on ad hoc projects as necessary

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of experience in a Human Resources role with a focus on high volume recruitment
• Human Resources Management Certificate is preferred
• CHRP/CHRL certified or be working towards certification is an asset
• Experience in the non-profit sector, unionized environment and/or community healthcare is an asset
