St. John's Vancouver Anglican Church is part of the Anglican Network of Canada (ANIC) and is the largest congregation (700+ members) of the 70+ ANIC member churches across Canada.
We are Evangelical Anglicans: biblical in conviction, pastoral in orientation and grounded in the gospel. Our vision is to be a community of contrast, gripped by the gospel of God's grace, reaching out with the love of Christ to Vancouver and beyond. We are looking for someone to lead our Youth and Young Adults ministry. This job requires a person with strong gifts in discipleship, strategic ministry vision, pastoral experience, team coordination, and a proven commitment to the mission of the gospel. They should be a growing disciple of Jesus Christ and fully embrace the vision of SJV and values of ANiC.
The purpose of this position is twofold: (1) to provide spiritual oversight and ministry direction for youth (12-18) and young adults (18-20s) in line with St. John's vision for gospel formation; (2) to foster belonging and integration into the whole life of the church.
