Role & Responsibilities Overview:Create, maintain BRD's for identified data product, strategy initiativeProficient in data handling, manipulation using common tools – SQL, ExcelIdentify, prioritize and help deliver various data products within the organizationEmphasis on implementing data strategy initiatives for eg. merging internal data with third party data to create data asset for data consumers etc.Work with technical teams, data engineers to execute data product deliveryPerform data product business value mapping and communicate to stakeholdersManage day-to-day project operations, serve as the functional and domain expert on the project team to ensure that they meet client expectationsCandidate Profile:Master's degree in economics, mathematics, computer science/engineering, operations research or related analytics areas; candidates with BA/BS degrees in the same fields from the top tier academic institutions are also welcome to applyBased out of Canada, US – required in client office for minimum 2 days a weekSome recent experience in insurance domain/ data is must - Life and health insurance is good to have5+ years experience in handling data products, data strategy type projectsCan perform data analysis and business analyst responsibilitiesTechnical = SQL, Python, Data Analysis, Database tools, Data Exploration, Data Visualisation, Insight Generation
