Role and Responsibilities

Under the direction of the Senior Manager, Treasury & Project Financing, , the role of the Treasury Operations analyst is to ensure that banking operations are carried out properly at the head office and to be the front-line support service for the company's affiliates and banking partners.

Responsibilities and challenges

• Prepare fund transfers and electronic payments for derivatives and FX settlements in the various banking platforms and the treasury management system.
• Monitor those transfers and ensure they are properly executed, including updating and managing the supporting documentation and maintaining the archives.
• Keep the list of bank accounts up to date, as well as any relevant, related information and instructions for settlements.
• Confirm and review all derivatives and FX transactions in Bloomberg.
• Process all bank fees for letters of credits, interest and principal payments on external debts, as well as payments relating to the factoring program.
• Co-administer the banking platforms and the treasury management system and participate in the development and optimization of the related process and policies.
• Prepare treasury monthly and quarterly analysis and reporting (payments, liquidity position of affiliates, global liquidity, external debts, etc.).

Qualifications and expertise

• University degree in accounting or finance.
• 2 to 5 years' experience with an international treasury.
• Knowledge of Reval, Bloomberg or another treasury system is an asset.
• Analytical and organizational skills.
• Excellent team player.
• Well-organized and able to handle simultaneous requests.
• Excellent communications skills, both written and spoken, in French and in English.
