We have an exciting opportunity for an INTERNAL AUDITOR in Regina, SK.

Main Duties include:

· Prepares the audit plan, methodology, documentation reflecting best practices and emerging trends, and related processes in accordance with regulatory, legal and industry standards and organizational requirements.

· Seeks input from senior leaders and other stakeholders with respect to potential control issues and risk.

· Finalizes the audit plan, scope, and timeliness for submission to the CFO.

· Conducts audits of financial, operational, and compliance areas to assess effectiveness and efficiency, controls, and risk.

· Audits various financial and operational processes

· Performs detailed testing, analysis, and assessment with respect to applicable laws, the integrity of corporate systems, processes, procedures, and related controls; proactively identifies gaps, deficiencies, errors, non-compliance issues, control weaknesses, and other areas of concern.

· Creates a detailed audit report that incorporates key audit process categories.

· Meets with the leadership to discuss the audit report, related findings, and recommendations.

· Prepare and present Internal Audit reports presentations to Audit and Risk Committees.

· Fosters a culture of accountability, transparency and continuous improvement by promoting awareness of internal audit principles and compliance requests across the organization.

Competencies for Success:

· Bachelor of Administration or Commerce with a major in accounting.

· A CPA designation is necessary, and individual must be an active member of CPA Saskatchewan

· Three to five years of progressive and successful audit experience.

· Comprehensive knowledge of sound audit practices as they relate to financial and operational processes.

· CIA (Certified Internal Auditor) is an asset.

· Financial management and control within the non-profit sector is an asset.

· Knowledge of the communications industry is preferred, particularly related to the Internet, cable television, and Access Communications' products and services.

· Clear Criminal Record Check.
