With more than $1.8 trillion in assets under administration, we deliver end-to-end solutions and exceptional service to meet our clients' needs.For more information about Citco, please visit the Team and Business Line: The Operational Data Lake (ODL) is multi-skilled team responsible for the implementation of Citco's operational data lake and scaling data-driven analytics across different business units by leveraging advanced techniques and technologies. The ODL team is also focused on breaking data silos and building a single source of centrally governed operational data products.About the Role: The Lead Data Analyst will be a key member of the Operational Data Lake (ODL) team and will spearhead the implementation of ODL project. This role will be pivotal in driving the success of the project through effective project management and reporting, stakeholder engagement and marketing the data lake within the organization, setting up a Data Center of Excellence (CoE), enhancing data quality, and enabling the creation of data products and data-driven analytics through central governance.Your Role: You will showcase the benefits of the data lake in driving data-driven decision-making and improving business outcomes.Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels to understand their requirements and expectations and transform them into technical requirements for development team.Collaborate with business stakeholders to identify opportunities for creating data products and analytics solutions.Work in partnership with cross-functional teams to prioritize and manage sprint backlogs effectively.Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, and status reports to keep stakeholders informed of progress, escalating risks and proactively address concerns.Oversee sprint planning, execution, and retrospective sessions to ensure timely delivery of project milestones.Establish and enforce data governance policies and procedures to ensure data integrity, security, and compliance with regulatory requirements.Work closely with technical teams to ensure seamless integration and deployment of data products and analytics solutions.Develop and maintain documentation related to data governance processes and standards.Identify opportunities to streamline processes, automate repetitive tasks, and optimize resource allocation to improve sprint velocity and team productivity. About You:You will have a undergraduate degree in Business, Commerce, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field; Graduate degree preferred.Proven ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with tight deadlines and changing priorities.Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.Excellent oral and written communication skills and be able to present requirements/information/insight to a varied audience including both business and technical stakeholders.Strong project management skills.Proficiency in agile methodologies (e.g., Scrum, Kanban) and project management tools (e.g., Jira, Trello, Confluence).Knowledge of data lake architectures, technologies, and best practicesDeep understanding of data governance principles, data quality management, and regulatory requirements (e.g., GDPR, CCPA)Assets:Financial product knowledge and knowledge of Hedge Fund AdministrationExperience in setting up and managing Data Centers of Excellence (CoE) is highly desirableFamiliar with schema design and dimensional data modelingFamiliar with using Qlik/PowerBI/Quicksight/TableauKnowledge of Databricks/Snowflake/Data Warehouse toolsKey Competencies CommunicationProblem SolvingTeamworkDrive for ResultsAdaptabilityTechnical Knowledge and Commercial AcumenQuality and Risk ManagementOur BenefitsYour well being is of paramount importance to us, and central to our success.
