Here's the impact you'll make and what we'll accomplish together

As a Threat Intelligence Analyst, you will be an integral part of the TELUS Health Threat Intelligence team. Your primary role will be conducting collection and analysis, which you will leverage to produce various high-quality intelligence products. When doing so, you will use some of the latest and greatest tools and technologies to proactively identify and track emerging and existing threats to TELUS Health. By providing relevant, timely, and actionable reporting for stakeholders, you will help to effectively defend our organization and our customers against these threats. Together, we will improve the overall security posture of the organization by keeping everyone up to date and informed on the external threat landscape.

What your role will be

● Be a part of global threat intelligence capability for TELUS Health as part of a wider CSO transformation programme.
● Proactively identify and track threats to TELUS Health via the analysis of raw intelligence and data.
● Conduct collection and analysis of information to produce high-quality intelligence products that are relevant, timely, and actionable by the wider TELUS Health CSO team.
● Provide intelligence support to various CSO stakeholder initiatives, such as training or special projects.
● Conduct briefings, as needed, for a variety of TELUS Health stakeholders.
● Conduct peer review of draft reporting for other team members.
● Contribute to the development and maintenance of strong relationships with industry partners including peers, law enforcement and government agencies across multiple regions.
● Contribute to the development and improvement of threat intelligence processes and frameworks.

What you bring to the team

● Significant experience in a threat intelligence role within any sector, including experience conducting collection and analysis.
● A sound understanding of computer networking fundamentals and cyber security technologies.
● Experience with threat intelligence tools and techniques including OSINT.
● Strong verbal and written communication skills, with excellent attention to detail.
● Exceptional analytical skills, with the ability to quickly conduct assessments of new threats and identify the 'so what' for TELUS Health.
● Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to develop relationships with a variety of internal and external stakeholders, including those with technical or non-technical backgrounds.
● The ability to effectively manage your time and work with minimal supervision.
● The mindset of a continual learner, with a desire to regularly acquire new knowledge and skills to elevate the Threat Intelligence team's capabilities.
● The ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
● A team player mindset and an enthusiasm for collaboration with colleagues to leverage their subject matter expertise.

Nice to haves

● Knowledge of Intelligence fundamentals, including the Intelligence cycle.
● Experience conducting threat hunting activities.
● Experience conducting malware analysis.
● Experience producing intelligence on geopolitical, fraud, and physical threats.
● Experience in applying analytical techniques within an intelligence environment.
● An existing network of security and/or intelligence professionals.
● Ability to undergo security clearance in your geographic location.
● Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
