The RN demonstrates professional development and clinical competency, utilizes the nursing process to assess plan, implement and evaluate patient care, addresses health educational needs for patients and families, and other health care providers, manages patient care assignments as well as other organizational tasks related to patient unit operations and acts in a clinical leadership role in the coordination of patient care for all assigned patients. Reporting to the Clinical Manager, Emergency Services, and the successful applicant will be responsible for providing evidenced based, comprehensive, safe, effective and ethical nursing care to all clients in need of Emergency Services. There are two roles working opposite shifts of eachother of 11am-11pm Graduate of an accredited college university nursing program Registered and in good standing with the College of Nurses of Ontario Current emergency nursing experience is an asset Effective September 7th, 2021 all applicants must provide proof of two doses for full vaccination against Covid-19 (in the form of watermark receipts from the provincial portal) or provide written proof of a medical or religious reason for not being fully vaccinated as per Organization Policy, Covid-19 Immunization and Management.
