Job responsibilities as Apprentice at BMW Durham *Primary responsibilities:* Complete all work according to the applicable safety requirements Diagnosis and repair vehicles, ensuring the service shop is maintained in a clean, organized, hazard-free manner Properly complete the service and/or repairs for which the technician is trained Maintain an inventory of normal mechanics tools needed to perform the work for which the technician is trained and not normally inventoried by the service department as "special tools"· Properly use the special tools and equipment provided by the service department· Produce quality work that evidences pride of workmanship· Ensure that customers vehicles are returned as clean as they were prior to being serviced· Make every effort to achieve the production and personal objectives set by management· Constructively communicate with other dealership personnel as required to satisfy customer needs. Participate in and utilize technical training as assigned by management *Health & Safety:* Work in compliance with the provisions of the Occupational Health & Safety Act and regulations Comply with all BMW Durham's Health & Safety rules and procedures and its supporting programs for performing work in a safe and healthy manner· Report promptly to the supervisor(s) or Management of any workplace hazard which you are aware· Refrain from any activity which may jeopardize the health and safety of yourself or others Other Responsibilities: Perform other duties as required to ensure the successful operation of the dealership *Our Commitment:* BMW Durham is dedicated to inclusivity and accessibility.
