Why This Role is Important

PC Financial is one of the leading payments business' in Canada and its products are a critical driver of Canada's most loved PC Optimum program. The Director, Acquisition channel insights and growth is data driven decisionmaker, a passionate driver with a get-it done style who is responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects related to the acquisition of PC Financial customers. This includes developing and implementing strategic plans to attract new customers, establishing partnerships with the broader enterprise to drive growth of the division, conducting market research to identify target demographics, analyzing industry trends, , monitoring sales performance, and ensuring compliance with regulations governing credit card acquisition.

What You'll Do:

  • Take on a central role within the acquisition team, facilitating and empowering acquisition channel-owners (digital, sales) with tools, insights and opportunities to surpass targets in the most cost-effective manner.
  • Proactively identity, lead and action acquisition innovation across entire funnel to enable marketing partners to improve conversion, drive efficiency and unlock new opportunities within our channels
  • Champion the customer experience from prospecting to activation, to ensure we build best in class customer experiences for all segments
  • Work closely with the onboarding teams to ensure customer early month on book strategies aligned with product, segment, and channel strategies to drive the desired behaviors
  • Work in lock step with credit risk team to build appropriate targeting strategies required to grow strategic segments
  • Lead full acquisition program development with LCL retail divisions (Discount, Market, SDM, PCO, PCX, PCH) to drive tender penetration, usage, basket size and awareness of PCF products
  • Develop and grow cross enterprise and external partnerships to increase the opportunities for acquisition and more wholistic integration of PCF products within their customer journeys
  • Lead reporting, forecasting, analytics, and offer strategy for all products across face-to-face, paid and owned digital channels
  • Lead acquisition innovation across entire funnel to enable marketing partners to improve conversion, drive efficiency and unlock new opportunities within our channels

What You Bring:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business or equivalent work experience
  • 10+ years professional experience within the payments, credit cards, or financial services business; 5+ years managing teams
  • Outcome oriented, driven leader who operates with a great sense of urgency balanced with thoughtfulness
  • Values leading and growing teams to their greatest potential; enjoys people management, collaboration, and seeing their team thrive and grow
  • Proactively identifies opportunities to drive and expand team mandate, improve processes, deliver efficiency, stronger customer experience, more growth
  • Curious, interested, analytical and loves a fast-paced environment dealing with ambiguous business challenges
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills with the ability to influence and build consensus
