Our client in the Engineering Industry is currently looking for an Electromechanical Technician/Crane Technician on a permanent basis to join their growing team.
What we offer:- Location: Bolton, Ontario
- Reporting to: Location Manager
- Work Hours: Monday - Friday: 8:00 AM to 5 PM (overtime pay for any workday over 8 hours of work)
- Salary: $45-55/hour – company truck – 3 weeks' vacation – RRSP Program - 407 paid - paid overtime after 4:30pm - voluntary on call
- Permanent Full time, with benefits
- Communicate regularly with customers to gather information related to technical issues.
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical/air components used on cranes.
- Perform preventative scheduled maintenance and repairs to ensure safe and proper working order of cranes.
- Review technical inquiries of customers to recommend possible solutions related to the operation or maintenance.
- Answer service calls.
- Perform cold calling to attract new customers.
- Being proactive & proposing good technical solution to increase customer equipment durability, Reliability, productivity & safety
- Maintain Inventory
- Electromechanical Engineering Technician program or equivalent degree is an asset.
- Electrical License such as 442A, Journeyman Electrician or Red seal is an asset.
- Excellent mechanical and electrical skills.
- At least 3 years of related work experience.
- Driver license G
- Welding experience, an asset
