We have another exciting opportunity for veterinary nurses with an interest in OOH emergency care.

We are seeking veterinary nurses to work alongside our interns to support the triage and emergency treatment of our primary care patients. Working within a supportive, multi-disciplinary environment will also provide the opportunity to develop specialist nursing care skills.

The roles are 12-month fixed term contracts with the potential for extension. They may also provide a stepping stone to other permanent roles within Langford Vets. The hours of work are based on a minimum contract of 5 hours/week, with a 1:2 or 1:3 weekend rota (Saturday 1pm – 8pm, Sunday 8am – 8pm). We would also consider making additional hours up of shifts within the Small Animal Referral Hospital.

We recognise that work/life balance is important and are open to discussion regarding shift patterns and hours for the right candidates.

These roles will ideally suit veterinary nurses who enjoy the flexibility of locuming but would also appreciate the benefits and stability of employment. Candidates will be self-motivated, with excellent organisational and timekeeping skills and able to work independently and as part of a team. As the successful candidates will be working within the teaching hospital, there are brilliant opportunities for learning, both within the clinics and in house CPD events.

Salary for this role is £30,110.97 - £39,347.67 pro rata depending on experience.
