The Technical Manager is the primary technical support person for the operation of six Electric Arc Furnaces at our Niagara Falls, Ontario plant. The Technical Manager reports directly to the Furnace Processing Manager and directly supervises the Quality Control (QC) Supervisor and the Process Development Engineer. Manager operation of recycling program and oversee planning and execution of fusion campaigns Optimize material processing controls to minimize costs, such as recycling, without compromising product quality or safety Prepare and submit technical reports, summaries of Furnace campaigns, and ensures that these summaries are available in a timely manner Have 5 years plus of experience in an industrial environment Be an effective communicator who can engage plant and office personnel to help resolve daily challenges Company paid medical, vision, and dental plans Washington Mills is an Equal Opportunity Employer committed to workforce diversity.
