In the appointment of Teaching Assistant, the general duties and responsibilities will be as follows: Helping set up materials for classes; Monitoring online assignments/discussions/chat rooms; Monitoring online activity; Providing feedback and tracking performance; Michelle Prytula, course instructor, and report formally to the JSGS Executive Officer. The general location of work will be in the Diefenbaker Building on campus where JSGS is located. Course Name, Abbreviation and Number: JSGS 882 Strategic Management in the Public Sector (two sections, one online and one in person) A minimum of a Master's degree in political science, public policy, or other social sciences discipline is required. Strong English language communication skills are required. The successful candidate must be registered in a graduate program at the University of Saskatchewan in the Johnson Shoyama Graduate School of Public Policy and be in good standing. Teaching experience and experience working in the public sector would be considered assets. Where a graduate student is appointed to this position, it will be in scope of PSAC.
