Job Description

Our client are seeking to appoint a Land and Planning Manager. This is a full-time permanent position based in Co. Meath and will require travel to various sites. The successful candidate will work with the Board of Directors to manage regulatory compliance of existing property portfolio and expand the resource base of the company through identification of new mineral prospects and securing regulatory consent. They will possess strong experience in a planning and environmentally focused role both in the office and out on site.

Responsibilities:
  1. Preparing Planning Applications, Appeals and Oral Hearings.
  2. Planning Compliance Submissions.
  3. Environmental Impact Assessment.
  4. Contributing to the Management of the Property, Planning and Environmental Portfolios of the Company.
  5. Managing Multi-disciplined Consultants.
  6. Making Submission with Respect to County Development Plans and other Regulatory Plans and Policies.
  7. Liaise with the Board of Directors to Expand Company Resources.
  8. Demonstrate a lead by example approach to all aspects of Health & Safety, be fully compliant with Company Health & Safety: policies, procedures, systems and rules, report all hazards and incidents and ensure that you work safely at all times.
Experience

BSc Planner or MSc Spatial Planning.
7 years post graduate experience in similar role.
Membership of MIPI or MIEI or other professional membership as appropriate.
Excellent communication and training skills.
Hold a full driver's license.
Ability to demonstrate leadership with a positive approach throughout the team.
