Mandatory in-office days are Monday, Tuesday, and Friday

Intermediate Copywriter
A Copywriter at Tiller contributes to our success by writing clear, concise, and compelling copy for B2B SaaS clients. Your words will inform and engage target audiences and help clients achieve specific business objectives. You are a team player and a skilled, strategic writer with an eye for detail. Our ideal candidate has direct experience writing for the B2B software industry. If you like to work in a fast-paced environment, can grasp project requirements quickly, and offer valuable insight, we'd like to meet you.
What you get to do:
Interpret project briefs to understand project requirements
Conduct thorough and high-quality research and interviews
Write clear, concise, and compelling long-form and short-form copy for various mediums (e.g. websites, blog posts, newsletters, ads, email campaigns, social media, etc.)
Collaborate on website content strategy including sitemap development and wireframing
Work closely with designers to ensure copy and design effectively and accurately communicate subject matter
Apply distinct brand voice, personality to client copy
Edit and proofread copy with a high attention to detail
Apply SEO principles to maximize copy's reach
Collaborate with account managers, project managers, brand strategists, designers, developers, and other creative professionals on large and small-scale projects
Optimize web and landing page copy for conversion
Present and pitch your work to push clients towards fresh, exciting ideas

Are passionate about helping companies achieve their objectives
Enjoy learning complex subject matter and translating it into easily understood value
Are highly creative and curious about technology and SaaS
Have 3+ years of copywriting experience
Have experience writing for a B2B audience
Have a BSc/BA in marketing, communications, English, journalism, or related field
Have strong research and interviewing skills
Have excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills
Have excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Work well in a team and with a range of creative people
Are confident in building a rapport with clients and nurturing good working relationships
Are able to see other people's points of view and receive and apply feedback
Are highly self-motivated, well organized, and have an eye for detail
Have an organized approach to delivering under pressure, managing workloads, and meeting deadlines
Have the ability to handle multiple planned and unplanned projects and responsibilities
Work well within strict budgets
Have experience with on-page SEO (e.g. incorporating keywords, writing metadata, etc.)

Compensation
The base salary range for this position will be commensurate with the skills and experience of the successful candidate.
Pay ranges at Tiller are reviewed annually against external data within the Alberta market to attract, retain, and motivate our incredible talent with a competitive total compensation package.
