French Immersion Secondary Humanities Teacher Glenmary School, Peace River, Alberta

Glenmary School located in Peace River, Alberta requires a Full-time French Immersion Humanities Teacher starting August 28, 2024 ending June 27, 2025 with the possibility of continuous contract if successful.

Assignment - Junior/Senior Humanities including French Language Arts, Social Studies and potentially other courses in the candidate's skill set.

The ideal candidate will be fluent in French and possess training, knowledge, and experience in secondary Humanities and have an understanding of assessment for learning. The successful candidate will be required to support students who have individualized program plans, enrichment, modifications, and/or accommodations to their learning.

The successful candidate must be eligible to teach in the Province of Alberta. Knowledge and understanding of Inclusive Education, Indigenous Education, and educational technology proficiency would be considered assets.

The successful candidate must be willing to live in a rural community environment and be a team player, willing to collaborate, communicate and work together with fellow colleagues. Catholic and non-catholic applicants are welcome to apply.
