Accounts Payable Supervisor
Our client, a full-service property management company specializing in managing residential, commercial, and industrial properties is seeking a Residential Property Administrator to join their team in North York.
Reporting to the Accounts Payable Manager, the Accounts Payable Supervisor plays a crucial role in ensuring the efficient and timely processing of all accounts payable responsibilities pertaining to assigned portfolios. With a focus on leadership, people development, process improvement, and innovation, this role contributes significantly to achieving common goals while fostering a collaborative work environment.
Salary: $75,000 - $80,000.
Location: North York. Hybrid Model.

Responsibilities:
- Delegate work to the accounts payable team for assigned portfolios.
- Serve as a liaison with client groups when necessary.
- Act as the primary point of contact for accounts payable issues raised by employees, escalating as needed.
- Administer and process invoices, including verifying GL coding, inputting invoices, and matching purchase orders.
- Issue cheques, including printing cheques, matching invoices, and preparing cheque folders for approval.
- Process accounts payable for utilities, realty taxes, credit cards, and corporate taxes, coordinating with relevant stakeholders and ensuring timely payments.
- Prepare accounts payable reporting, answering inquiries from suppliers, property managers, and others.
- Process employee expenses, organizing petty cash reimbursements, and maintaining filing systems.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of related accounts payable experience.
- Previous supervisory experience.
- Post-Secondary education in accounting or related is an asset.
- Experience utilizing Yardi Voyager or Property Vista is considered an asset.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and strong computer skills.
- Analytical with a keen attention to detail.
