We are looking for:
Under the guidance of more senior team members, provides support to general accounting activities. This includes assisting in the preparation of journal entries/ledgers, fixed asset and inventory accounting, reconciliation, and/or financial statement consolidation. Support accounting procedures by evaluating and assessing the co-operatives controls, processes, and procedures. Provides supporting analysis for more senior team members on financial review and activities. Works across multiple areas of accounting based on changing business needs. Performs routine work assignments under guidance.
Requirements:
- Business or Accounting Diploma (Equivalent education or experience may be considered)
- 2+ years of relevant administration or accounting experience an asset
- Attention to detail, time management, project management, exceptional team player.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Proficient software aptitude including MS Office
