Who we are:
The Multi-Service Centre (MSC) is a non-profit organization serving the tri-counties area of Oxford, Elgin and Norfolk and focusing on delivering essential services to our community. Staff and management provide high quality, client driven care programs including Adult Literacy & Essential Skills, Employment Programs and Home Support services

We are seeking a highly motivated individual who enjoys seeing the positive impact of their work within their community. As a housekeeper you will be part of an exceptional team who provides excellent home support services to the tri-counties area of Oxford, Elgin, and Norfolk!

As a Housekeeper at the MSC you will be responsible for:

  • Provide housekeeping services to meet client goals as outlined in the individual's care plan
  • Light housecleaning, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping floors, scrubbing surfaces;
  • Laundry services;
  • Changing and making beds;
  • Basic meal preparation; and
  • Seasonal type tasks such as spring cleaning, cupboard and appliance cleaning, closet tidying.
  • Provide errand services (on an as approved basis), including but not limited to; Picking up dry cleaning; Shopping for groceries; and Gathering other supplies as needed

What you bring:

· Experience working in a homecare setting

· Experience providing a high standard of customer service that is client focused

· Ability to lift, push or pull cleaning equipment and supplies up to 50 pounds; stretch arms above head; bend to clean under furniture.

· Valid Ontario Drivers License and reliable transportation required

· Completed First Aid training with a current and valid certification would be an asset

· Familiarity with the MSC's services and geographical service delivery area
