We are immediately hiring a permanent full-time Senior Sales Manager in our Canadian market-a role that will help us to power progress for our customers.

What you'll do:

  • Manage the Canadian market of $50 to $100 million in revenue
  • Managing a remote sales team including setting, measuring, and tracking sales performance
  • Set individual revenue targets (quotas) and drive their attainment ensuring profitable sales.
  • Develop and execute sales and marketing plan for developing business, including product revenue targets
  • Identify and evaluate potential new opportunities and provide suitable recommendation to boost sales of products / increase market share
  • Implement/support the national accounts plan for the country of Canada
  • Ensure the attainment of monthly, quarterly and annual revenue targets
  • Assist establishing a customer base in which to promote and solicit new, diverse, on-going business
  • Maintain market awareness; stay in touch with market trends including economic, environmental, and competitive forces influencing the market.
  • Enforce standards, monitor pricing practices, execute objectives, and hold team accountable for performance.
  • Ensure effective adherence to company policies, procedures, and sales process.
  • Ensure optimal team performance and capability by providing day-to-day leadership, coaching, development, and corrective action.
  • Create and maintain relationships at key levels with select customers and accounts; ensure timely and thorough follow-up.
  • Ensure that the assigned sector attracts, develops and retains the highest quality sales talent available in the market place.
  • Create a portfolio of new business customers- be an individual contributor to the territory
  • Implement a Territory Sales Plan, detailing strategy, objectives and planned activity
  • Execute comprehensive customer account plans and sales opportunity plans
  • Build a robust sales pipeline and forecast that will yield future profitable revenue streams
  • Provide proactive information about relevant market activities within the assigned territory or market sector
  • Develop a detailed knowledge of competitive products and services in area of operation & submit accurate competitor information report on a monthly basis

We're experts, which means you'll have the following skills and experience:

  • 8 to 10 years of direct business to business sales management experience
  • Experienced managing a $50-to-$100 million-dollar territory
  • Advanced knowledge of Canadian marketplace
  • Advanced knowledge of multiple sectors (Building Services and Construction, Mining, Manufacturing, Data Center, Petrochemical, Oil and Gas and Utilities in Canada
  • Advanced knowledge of power generators, diesel engines, electrical distribution equipment, natural gas, HVAC equipment/Cooling Towers and/or oil free air compressors.
  • Proficiency with a CRM (i.e., Salesforce)
  • Partnership with other areas of the Aggreko business (Ops, Fleet, Logistics)
  • Bachelor's degree or relevant experience
