Systems enterprise healthcare client is seeking a REMOTE Intermediate Project Manager with Communications background tosupport review, update of Intranet site, redesign and move to Sharepoint platform. 6 month contract + extensions 37.5 hours / week Max hourly rate of $80 / hour + GST if incorporated MUST HAVE SKILLS Background in internal corporate communications , crafting content for various platforms and stakeholders Some project management / project coordination experience working on Sharepoint portals and intranet design projects (familiar with technical and web architecture of changes) Experience supporting communication tactics throughout the project management life cycle. JOB DUTIES: Lead and coordinate all aspects of PHSA PDHIS InfoCentre Redesign project, together with PHSA Communications and the Client Services & Business Operations team.This role will develop and implement a project plan for InfoCentre, the primary business-facing SharePoint site for PDHIS, with the intent of improving content and user experience, and the migration of the current content to a more modern platform. High level accountabilities include: Lead and coordinate project activities including financial responsibility for the project and management of resources to meet the schedule and budget for the project deliverables. Identify and track metrics related to deliverables; follow digital trends including cultural safety and accessibility considerations; report on the status of tasks and major barriers encountered. Facilitate consensus with stakeholders and ensure readiness for website improvements. Manage and update InfoCentre content, providing organizational change management best practices framework, processes and documentation as needed. Develop and support ongoing updates/revisions related toLearningHub training materials, as well as other related materials (i.e., presentations, 1-pagers, etc.) as needed to support InfoCentre content sustainment model. Implement or contribute to the implementation of effective processes to assess project risks, identify risk mitigation strategies and monitor risk throughout the project lifecycle. Provide leadership, guidance and direction to communications staff, contractors, and partners. Build and maintain strong working relationships with technical and professional staff. Contribute to the development of engagement strategies, plans and schedules to support Customer and Information Services portfolio as it related to the InfoCentre updates and sustainment. Produce presentation and training materials, status reports, etc. and other related administrative tasks as they pertain to the InfoCentre redesign. Coordinate technical and other requirements with the Web Solutions team. Other duties as assigned. The Client Services and Business Operations team requires a consultant (Project Manager with Communications background and expertise) to support the review and update of the InfoCentre site, including the full redesign, implementation to an updated platform (SharePoint 2019) and content development. InfoCentre serves as a program-specific intranet for PDHIS PHSA, Vancouver Coastal Health and Providence Health Care. The consultant will be responsible for working with teams and subject matter experts to update the existing content, create new content where necessary, develop process and relationships to maintain it, and any training material and change management required to support a sustainment model. To support successful communications and engagements the role must engage with leaders and staff to ensure content is appropriate and useful and build awareness and engagement for the when the site transitions and goes-live. The consultant has superior written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills and is extremely detail-oriented, capable of simultaneously managing multiple projects and client expectations. Technical and web architectural experience specific to SharePoint, prior experience in internal communications, intranet design and project management is a pre-requisite. #J-18808-Ljbffr
