As an IT administrator at LCI Education, you will be responsible for developing technical standards, managing local and cloud virtual servers, as well as ensuring IT security and incident resolution. Interaction with international customers and partners is expected, requiring professional English proficiency, while proficiency in Microsoft 365, Windows Server, VMWare, Azure and other technologies is a must.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop technical standards and draft procedures to ensure operational efficiency;
  • Manage on-premises and cloud virtual servers (VMWare, VXRAIL + AZURE) to ensure optimal operation;
  • Contribute to the elimination of IT vulnerabilities by establishing plans for maintaining and updating platforms;
  • Manage AZURE hosted services by creating management policies;
  • Effectively manage infrastructure incidents and ensure proper follow-up of service requests;
  • Assist the technicians of the user support team in the resolution of level 3 problems;
  • Monitor networks and servers, detect anomalies and make corrections when necessary;
  • Participate in business needs analysis, risk assessment, and security maintenance of the Microsoft 365 environment.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Excellent command of Microsoft 365;
  • Strong understanding of Windows Server 2016 and newer environments;
  • Advanced expertise in VMWare products;
  • Advanced proficiency with Veeam backup solutions;
  • Strong proficiency in scripting languages, including PowerShell;
  • Good knowledge of monitoring tools such as PRTG;
  • Familiarity with log management platforms;
  • Working knowledge of SQL and VXRAIL hyperconverged virtualization, as well as cloud environments such as Azure;
  • Bilingualism between French and English.

This role involves interaction with internal and external clients and partners on a national and global scale. Professional proficiency in English is therefore a requirement for this role.
