Contributing to the overall fundraising goals of the Development team, you will play a significant role in stewarding and nurturing relationships with donors, sponsors and volunteers of the Ontario Science Centre. The role requires a self-starter with strong sales, stewardship, donor research and event planning experience coupled with superior written and oral communication skills that enable you to interact with various types of stakeholders. Donor Stewardship and Event Planning • Experience in developing and implementing stewardship plans for individual, government, corporate, and foundation donors, ensuring timely and meaningful recognition of their contributions. • Familiarity with tracking performance measurement indicators (for reporting purposes)• Strong familiarity with fundraising databases (preferably SalesForce) and handling personal and private information Strong experience in prospect research, background profiling, writing and producing proposals, promotional materials, presentations and recommending approach strategies. • Understanding of fundraising and donor relations principles, techniques, benchmarks and best practices. 1 English Temporary, duration up to 12 months, 770 Don Mills Rd, Toronto, Toronto Region All Ontario Public Service external job advertisements are posted in English and French.
