As an Aftermarket Sales Account Manager, you will provide leadership and drive Aftermarket revenue and profitability results at the customer level through implementation of corporate strategies, From Flow, KMT, SPA and H2O with direct customer contact. The Aftermarket Sales Account Manager will assist the Aftermarket Service department in a wide variety of activities including spare parts quotes and sales, product support quotes and sales, custom automation quotes, and Automation upgrade quotes and sales, for all of Canada. Some travel is required.

The Aftermarket Sales Account Manager must be able to work autonomously, have outstanding communication skills, be detail oriented, a problem solver with superior customer service skills and the ability to work constructively with a variety of stakeholders with a tactful, positive approach.

The Aftermarket Sales Account Manager will work within the guidelines established by the Aftermarket Business / Department Manager.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include but are not limited to the following:

  • Under minimal supervision, performs all sales functions with regards to quotations in the assigned territory, including developing / writing custom proposals with cost tracking analyzing.
  • Be able to perform Local travel 80%, and overnight travel 5% of the time.
  • Have technical knowledge of all waterjet products and a verity of custom automation to assist customers and employees as needed and have access to reference materials to ensure appropriate completion of all work.
  • Provide consultative sales and technical support to customers.
  • Build customer relationships in a professional manner through solution-oriented communication, service, and telephone support.
  • Collaborate sold services, service quotes, and maintenance contracts and customer support with Service Coordinators
  • Collaborate with Aftermarket Sales Manager / Director of Service, and other involved departments to resolve escalated customer problems
  • Regular and predictable attendance is an essential function of this position.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

This position has no direct supervisory responsibilities.

TRAVEL

Travel within North America is estimated at less than 5% of overnite travel and 80% local travel. Travel will primarily be within Canada.

LOCATION

This position can be hybrid.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES :

  • Superior customer service and interpersonal skills.
  • Automation service background.
  • Understanding of waterjet machines is an asset
  • High level of customer service skills as well as the ability to respond quickly to service/parts calls.
  • Thorough understanding of systems troubleshooting and the benefits of establishing solid service practices for the company and the customer.
  • Good knowledge of control schematics, PLC's, Drives, HMI's and Robots.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook.
  • Must be motivated and fast paced personality with serious work ethic.
  • Must work effectively with little or no supervision.
  • Excellent written and oral communications skills.
  • Must be a salesperson at heart(written better, Sales oriented or driven).

EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE :

Three (3) year Technical Degree or equivalent experience in a related field or the equivalent combination of education and experience.

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES AND REGISTRATIONS :

  • Must have a valid Ontario Driver license that is in good standing.

  • Moderate physical exertion and exposure to both shop and field environments.
  • Ability to provide or establish around-the-clock service to customers as needed.
  • Capacity to lift weights of 50 pounds or more.
  • Regular tasks involve standing, reaching, bending, squatting, pushing, pulling, and navigating around the facility.
  • A minimum of 6 hours spent walking or standing daily.
  • A minimum of 8 hours of driving per day.
