Responsibilities:

  • Work under the direction of mentors to test state-of-the-art product
  • Design and develop robust automated test scripts based on the QA team's manual test cases.
  • Implement UI tests using selenium to ensure our applications' user interface meets our quality standards.
  • Develop API tests to validate the functionality, reliability, performance, and security of our APIs using tools like Postman, Cucumber etc..
  • Work closely with the QA team to understand the test requirements and convert manual test cases into automated scripts.
  • Continuously improve and expand our automation test framework to enhance test execution speed, scalability, and reliability.
  • Identify, record, document thoroughly, and track bugs through to resolution.
  • Stay up-to-date with new testing tools and test strategies, and integrate them into the test process where beneficial.
  • Provide detailed reports and metrics on test execution, coverage, and areas for improvement to the QA and development teams.
  • Current college student majoring in Computer Science or a related field.
  • One year of hands-on experience with Java or JavaScript.
  • Strong work ethic and commitment to producing high-quality results.
  • Excellent communication and analytical skills.
  • Canadian citizen, permanent resident, or person with refugee protection given under the lay and legal bale to work in Canada according to the laws and regulations of the province or territory where you live
  • Hands-on experience in a dynamic and collaborative work environment.
