The Senior Technical Services Specialist will provide technical consultation to Regional field sales force and direct to customers, by phone, email and in person.
- Provide technical consultation to Regional field sales force and direct to customers, by phone, email and in person.
- Develop rapport with top ten QC managers in the region.
- Manage the regional Requests for Technical Service system, and develop and interface with the laboratory.
- Plan, organize, implement and report new product field testing and new product introduction field tests.
- Provide technical training for customers and GCP Sales personnel as needed.
- Give talks and seminars to industry groups in many areas of admixture and concrete technology.
- Represent GCP in industry organization technical committees when appropriate.
- Testing to solve problems, gain business, retain business or change products.
- 40% travel by Air & Car and visiting our customers sites and other internal meetings. Travel to other provinces are necessary.
Minimum Requirements
- Associate's degree or Bachelor's degree in one of the following: Geology, Sciences, Engineering, Construction Management, Concrete Technology or Business.
- 8 years industry experience in either QC/QA for ready mix or pre-cast-prestress, a concrete testing lab, or concrete admixture company
- 6 years industry experience if holding an Associates degree
- 4 years industry experience if holding a Bachelor's degree
- Skilled in and able to perform field and laboratory test including Slump, Air Content, Unit Weight, Compressive Strength, Concrete Sampling, Aggregate Sampling, Laboratory Concrete Trials, Truck Concrete Trials and Mini Mixes
- Conduct one's job with minimal supervision
- Handle cement and concrete technical questions, and be capable of dealing effectively with key customers.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $103,000.00-$130,000.00 per year
